This is not a remote position, we are looking for a candidate who is living close to one of our offices (in Roosendaal, Rotterdam, Eindhoven or Nijmegen)
Account Manager French Speaking Regions
In your role as an Account Manager, you are responsible for the French region. Within this position, the main challenge is to create and expand a network of companies which we can assist with buying their overstock.
You build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers. This means that your job will have a mix of cold and warm acquisition. Relationship Management and Negotiation are some of your strengths!
As Account Manager at ASM you have an independent role with the guidance you need. You fully manage your own (key-)accounts and have the lead when it comes to handling them. This includes visiting your customers to inspect a lot if we do not have access via an up-to-date list of example. Furthermore, you make sure that our customers know that you are their key-person whenever they have questions or see opportunities.
You are commercially driven, result oriented, accurate and possess strong communication skills. You are proud of your work and have a passion for what you do.

What will you be doing?
- Buying spare parts (power transmission, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics) in the French market
- Actively acquiring new customers
- Negotiating deals and follow-up on offers
- Travelling to inspect lots, meet your customers and finalise deals
- Keeping an up-to-date administration in our CRM/ERP-system
What do we have to offer you?
- Salary, of course. Classification depends on work experience and education level, ranging to € 46,000.00 gross per year based on a fulltime employment contract (incl. holiday allowance)
- A hybrid job! At ASM you get the opportunity and tools to work from home 2 days in a week (including a working-from-home fee of €2,65 euros per day)
- A good working atmosphere at a Dutch company with international colleagues
- 28 vacation days on a full-time basis. ASM offers a holiday allowance of 8.5% instead of 8%.
- Lunch is prepared for you daily. You can leave your sandwiches at home.
- Travel expense allowance of €0,23 per kilometer (starting at a minimum of a one way trip of 10 kilometers and a maximum of €180 per month)
- 100% compensation for public transport
